delightful dolphins bento

i love to make bentos, my daughter's school mascot is the delightful dolphins. so, usually when i asked for ideas to make it's more often than not a dolphin request.

 here's her bento for today.

i hope you like it, and it inspires you to make some fun food too!:)

beautiful you, tilda's puppy

i haven't really made a card since i came back from vacation, and now school has started and ive got a bit of free time on my hands, and some new stamps :)  i got the elegant roses and the puppy wilma with a rose both from the raising the ceiling collection, they're my new two favorites! :) this is the card i created with those stamps.

i love this puppy!  i masked the puppy and added the roses behind him, i love the way it looks.  im probably going to have to do 90  million more! :) i used craft card to make the way pretty swirly heart that's holding the puppy image.

here's a close up of little wilma. i wanted to add a tilda but she just wasnt proportional. any ideas to get around this?

these are the corner close ups.  i addedd some glitter hearts that i got at micheals after valentines, flatback coffee colored bling, pink flatback pearls, and a laser cut lace heart mrs gossman's sticker .

i hope you enjoy this one :)

im entering this card into the following challenges

- midweek magnolia - a color challenge pink, brown, and white.
- totally tilda - use kraft card

first day of school

my lovely daughter started her first day of first grade.  i love to make her bento boxes, and of course she loves to eat them :)

i asked what she wanted for her first day of school bento, and she said she wanted "a piggy, pls!" so, that's what she got.  the piggy's face is made from munster cheese that i colored with pink food coloring, the blue ball is a cake pop, i made it with a doughnut hole maker that i got at walmart after christmas, i originally got it to make takoyaki.  works perfect to.

i make her bentos the day before. so i have another to share.  cute little pandas.  i used leftover sushi rice, another cake ball.  she love tomatoes so i added those and of course carrots and ham flowers.  this one went together really quickly.  the little pandas are some cute bento barans, not food.  we all need cheater days :)

thanksgiving tilda card

magnolia stamp lovers is having an autumn challenge, and im a so ready for this! :)  fall is my favorite season! halloween, back to school, thanksgiving, although here in florida it wont start cooling off until january  and maybe february. :-/  lol.

here's what i created for the challenge!

i LOVE this tilda, she could be a little witch or a pilgrim :)  so cute! :) i colored here with my distress markers, made some little wire pumpkins, set her in a orange and brown crackled chip board frame, and crammed in as many fall flavored flowers as i could fit! :)  the ribbon i got from a thrift store, i love it and have barely any left, but ive used it on almost everything fall :)

i drew the banner on the bottom and hand wrote the senitment.

here's a close up of the cute little tilda.

and the flowers on the sides.

i hope you like this card! thanks for stopping by :)

totally tilda dt call

hello everyone! im a twin and i recently had a birthday.  so of course, i had to make a card for my twin brother.  here it is!  i hope you like it :)

i really love the way this one turned out!  my goal for the tilda and edwin stamp was to make it look like a photo in a picture frame.

you can tell a bit better here.  i used a sellbinders label to cut out the stamped image and then cut off where it embossed, and layered it on another dark brown spellbinders diecut of the same size to give the effect of it being matted in the picture frame.  at their house they have a bunch of those white swirly shabby chic kind of frames, so i used a some cereal box chip board and cut a larger die shape and embossed it and white washed it so the embossing would stick out and make it look like the frames they have.

here's a close up of the corner there's pearls swirls and flowers.

here's the inside of the card.  it's my brother and i on a river boat, proud as can be.  i used a websters pages to create the frame, and raised with puffy dots to go with the picture frame theme.

im entering this card into the following challenges:
