4th of july magnolia-licious challenge blog

its been awhile since ive posted, summer has made me lazy, and the beach has been calling my name!

 i had a great 4th of july and hope everyone else has too.  my twin brother came down with his wife and twin boys.  it was awesome!  everyone enjoyed their selves and the races didnt get rained out :)

in was happy to see that the magnolia licious color challenge was red, white and blue themed, and decided to use this opportunity to make my brother and his family a thank you card for coming down.
i allso entered this in the scrappy frogs challenge blog, and their theme is red, white, and blue.

i loved the way this card turned out! i wanted to make tilda look like she was sitting in the middle of a firework.  i made everything as glittery as possible.

the products that i used are  lost and found market street by my minds eye (red polka dots) websters pages plam beach collection (blue stripes)  heather blue cardstock for the large beaded circle die cute by spellbinders,  cream cardstock for the inner circle that i edged with lace, the lace doohicky from magnolia, that i inked with broken china from ranger and sprayed with silver tattered angels glimmer mist,  i added flowers from i am roses, crystal sprayes from hobby lobby and stars randomly around the card.  the inset is stamped with a harlequin stamp and the corner is an embossing  a candy cane style folder, that i inked with pink and went over with red glitter glue.
