pink and brown challenge

hello!  i know my blogs been a bit slow, but im just getting over a cold and am on the mend of both myself and my house (kids and husbands can not be trusted to clean) :-/

there is a new inky impressions blog challenge and the theme is pink and brown and our sponsor is my creaative classroom.  i love pink and brown so much, and the only thing that could beat it is pink and green :)  so here's my little card :)

yay! it's so cute! for the center card topper i used Joseph and Lynnette's First Date and colored it with my copic markers, and cute it out with my bearded spellbinders and inked it with a pink stamp pad and a brown one.   on the dark pink side i used fiskers simple stick stamps:  the sweet life to make the pattern on the paper,  and the hearts are from a my minds eye honey cake 6 x 6 pad.  and of course i added lots of embellishments and a bow! :)

here's a wonderful close up of the card topper.  i used glossy accents on the mug to make it look like a real glass.

the embellishments, i added a little colored in cupcake the icing is painted in with pearl puffy paint, and glossy accents on the cherry to make it look nice and juice :)

here's the inside of the card.  i used a little beaded diecut around the sentiment, and basic grey patterned cupcake paper in the inside, it looks really special when you open it up. :)

im entering my card into the following challenges
papertake weekly challenges - things that make you go awe!

thanks for stopping by!
